Is there any nearby local attraction and transportation?
Himaya Garden is located at 427 E Limberlost Dr in Tucson, AZ — just minutes from the Tucson Mall and easily reached from I-10 via the Miracle Mile or Stone Avenue exits. We're a short drive from downtown Tucson, the University of Arizona, and Catalina Foothills, with plenty of nearby hotels for out-of-town guests. On-site parking is available for all guests, and the venue sits on a quiet residential block surrounded by mature desert landscaping.
Are there restrictions on decorations?
Most decorations are welcome — we love when hosts bring their personal touch. The Garden Event Collection and Tea House Collection both include thoughtfully styled tables, linens, and centerpieces, and we partner with Desert Sky Party Rentals for balloon décor, photo booths, and statement enhancements. To protect the gardens and historic Tea House, we ask that you avoid open flame (battery candles only), confetti, glitter, rice, silly string, and anything nailed, screwed, or taped directly to walls or trees. Sparklers and fresh florals are welcome with prior approval.
What is the venue's capacity?
Our outdoor garden accommodates up to 150 guests for ceremonies, receptions, and larger celebrations. The indoor Tea House seats up to 50 guests for intimate gatherings — perfect for bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, tea parties, corporate retreats, and milestone events. Both spaces can be combined for larger weddings that flow between indoor dining and outdoor ceremony.
Can the venue accommodate special needs or accessibility requirements?
Yes — the venue is single-level with accessible pathways throughout the garden, the Tea House, and the bridal suite. Restrooms are wheelchair accessible, and convenient parking is available close to the main entrance. If a guest has specific mobility needs, please let us know during your tour and we'll walk you through the layout and any accommodations you'd like to make.
Are there any noise restrictions?
Music is part of the celebration, and we want it to feel right. The Garden Event Collection includes five hours of professional DJ services with a sound system, microphones, and dance floor lighting. Live acoustic music, ceremony musicians, and curated playlists are all welcome. As a venue in a residential neighborhood, amplified outdoor music wraps up by 10:00 PM in line with Tucson noise ordinances — the celebration can continue indoors after that.
